Time–frequency domain local spectral analysis of seismic signals with multiple windows

چکیده

For a non-stationary seismic signal, time–frequency analysis methods often include time window function that serves as weighting and by which the signal is multiplied to form segment. The has highest coefficient for central sample of rest segment, there no adequate representation in frequency spectrum. Here, I propose use multiple orthogonal functions properly represent local spectral property plane recover information lost due windowing before applying Fourier transform. First, construct directly using stack Gaussian functions. weighted average spectrum flat passband, better than conventional windows. Taking advantage linearity transform, we can apply each analytic generate instantaneous autocorrelation accordingly an averaged sum performing transform Wigner–Ville distribution (WVD). This multi-window WVD method successfully represents plane.

Spectral Domain Sampling of Graph Signals

Sampling methods for graph signals in the graph spectral domain are proposed. Conventional sampling of graph signals can be regarded as sampling in the graph vertex domain, but it does not have desired characteristics in regard to the graph spectral domain. Downand upsampled graph signals by using our methods inherit the frequency domain characteristics of sampled signals defined in the time/sp...

Time-frequency analysis of seismic reflection signals

In this paper we show the implementation of bilinear time-frequency representations in the interpretation of seismic data. In seismic stratigraphy the reeection patterns in seismic data are interpreted in terms of subsurface stratiication and lithological properties. The time-frequency representation clearly elicits seismic reeection patterns and can thus provide useful information on subsurfac...

Simplified Seismic Dynamic Analysis of Sloshing Phenomenon in Rectangular Tanks with Multiple Vertical Baffles

Sloshing is a well-known phenomenon in liquid storage tanks subjected to base or body motions. In recent years the use of multiple vertical baffles for reducing the sloshing effects in tanks subjected to earthquake has not been taken into consideration so much. On the other hand, although some of the existing computer programs are capable to model sloshing phenomenon with acceptable accuracy, t...

Multiple motion analysis: in spatial or in spectral domain?

In this paper, we compare the effects of multiple motions in spatial and spectral representations of an image sequence. We describe multiple motions in both domains and establish a comparison regarding their inherent properties when discretized. Though the spectral model provides us with an explicit description of both occlusion and transparency, it turns out that its resolution is very limited...
